THE MILONGA
More than a dance,
a ritual
A milonga is a tango social evening: warm light, classic orchestras, and dancers sharing the floor in a slow, graceful circle.
At Tango Sphere milongas, beginners and experienced dancers meet in an atmosphere of respect and quiet glamour.

THE CODES OF THE MILONGA
Etiquette of the dance floor
El cabeceo
The invitation is made with the eyes: a glance and a nod across the room, accepted with a smile.
La tanda
Music is played in sets of three or four songs. You dance a full tanda with one partner.
La cortina
A short piece of non-tango music between tandas, the moment to thank your partner and return to your seat.
La ronda
Couples move counterclockwise around the floor, respecting the space of those in front and behind.
MILONGA MOMENTS
The atmosphere
"Tango is a sad thought that can be danced."
